In February 2018, Catelijne Stam completed the training for carrying sling consultant! This means that she can give you advice to safely and ergonomically carry your baby/toddler.

After having your little one with you for the past 9 months, carrying your baby like this is very pleasant. And it’s practical, having your hands free and still being able to cuddle. Everyone is welcome to come and learn how to carry the baby, daddies, grandparents, aunties or friends.
Learning to tie a sling is just like learning to ride a bicycle, once you can do it, you won’t forget it again, and you will only get better at it!
Carrying sling consultation 1 person
For this consultation, I can come to your home or we can make an appointment at the practice. You will learn to tie a sling with a woven cloth or a stretch fabric cloth. You will practice with a doll first, and afterwards you can choose to practice with your own baby. The duration of this consultation is about 1-1.5 hours. It costs €60 per consultation
Carrying sling consultation 2 persons - DUO
For this consultation, I can come to your home or we can make an appointment at the practice. You will both learn to tie a sling with a woven cloth or a stretch fabric cloth. You will practice with a doll first, and afterwards you can choose to practice with your own baby. You will practice tying the slings together, with the dolls. This can be very fun, and it is also an advantage that you can keep practicing together after the consultation. An additional advantage is that you will be able to share the costs. The duration of this consultation is about 1- 1.5 hours. It costs €80 per consultation.
Fitting consultation 1 person or DUO
For this consultation, I can come to your home or we can make an appointment at the practice. I will show you prepared carriers and slings to show you the options, and I will teach you based on a prepared carrier. During this consultation you will also practice with a doll, and afterwards you can choose to practice with your own baby. The duration of this consultation is about 1-1.5 hours. It costs €60 per consultation. The price for a DUO consultation is €80.
